Commercial Recycling Equipment
The right commercial recycling equipment makes a major difference in your waste costs. Having equipment right-sized for your business helps you recycle more and earn valuable income for your recyclables while lowering your waste disposal fees.
Our Commercial Recycling Equipment Solutions
We provide various commercial recycling equipment solutions for lease or purchase, along with financing options. Additionally, we support equipment installs, repairs and preventative maintenance programs that keep your equipment running seamlessly to protect your investment over the long term.
Industrial Recycling Bins
Industrial recycling bins are large containers designed for recyclables in areas such manufacturing, industrial or warehouse settings. Much larger than household containers, these bins are durable and built to handle high volumes of recyclables.
Commercial Recycling Compactors
A commercial recycling compactor is an ideal solution for companies that produce less than 20 tons of recyclables per month. Compactors are easy to use, save space, and generate heavier waste loads that reduce the frequency of pickups.
Industrial Shredding Machines
Large-scale industrial shredding machines can shred your paper trimmings, misprinted material or documents, an ideal solution for commercial printers or companies who handle a bulk of mail or paperwork.
Baler Recycling Equipment
Baler recycling equipment can be cost-effective for companies that generate 20 tons or more of recyclables per month. By pre-sorting and processing your materials into condensed, single-commodity blocks, you help increase their value. We have vertical balers, horizontal balers and two-ram balers available for lease or purchase.
Recycling Transport Trailers
Recycling transport trailers allow for significant volumes of recyclables to be transported to our recycling facilities or directly to manufacturers for reuse in production. With a fleet of 400+ trailers, we can drop one at your facility to collect your recyclables for further processing or direct shipment.
Commercial Recycling Equipment FAQs
Choosing the right recycling equipment comes down to how much material your facility generates, how much space you have, and whether you want to own or lease. Below are the questions businesses most often ask us about balers, compactors, shredders, and bins. If you don’t see yours, contact our team, and we’ll walk through it with you.
What types of recycling equipment does Federal Recycling offer?
Do I need a compactor or a baler for my facility?
Compactors work best for businesses generating less than 20 tons of recyclables per month, while balers become more cost-effective at 20 tons or more. Compactors save floor space and cut pickup frequency. Balers compress sorted material into single-commodity blocks that carry real resale value on the recycled commodities market. Our team can review your monthly volume and recommend the right fit.

How does Federal Recycling transport recyclables from my facility?
Our fleet of 400+ recycling transport trailers can be dropped off directly at your facility, collected once loaded, and then routed to a Federal Recycling plant for processing or shipped straight to manufacturers. High-volume facilities use this instead of frequent small pickups, which reduces handling and dock congestion. The same fleet supports our national accounts program for multi-site businesses.
Where does Federal Recycling provide recycling equipment and service?
Federal Recycling serves businesses nationwide through our national accounts program, coordinating equipment and hauling across multiple sites under one agreement. We also provide direct, local service from owned facilities in Columbus, GA; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Harrisburg, PA; Houston, TX; Jefferson City, MO; San Antonio, TX; and St. Louis, MO. See our service locations for details on the market nearest you.
How long does it take to get recycling equipment installed?
Federal Recycling works with companies to install leased or purchased equipment in a timely manner. We advise manufacturers of any needed facility prep, such as concrete padding, electrical, etc., to ensure a smooth and speedy install.
Smaller equipment, such as vertical balers, can typically be installed quickly, while larger equipment often, but not always, requires more time for preparation, installation, and testing.
